I am a big believer in satire and parody too!

Rock on…

Thanks! It is fun to write, but it's hard to get the balance right.

The only people who do not get my jokes are my adult kids. They regularly say, “not funny Mom”, or, “do better”.

They think my humor is really mean.

I admit to enjoying whacking Marxists regularly.

I read a guy one time who said it was important to keep publicly pushing back against the leviathan, even if your children were embarrassed by your voice.

He said, “they will thank you later when they fully understand what a medical totalitarianism life would have been like.”

That resonated with me at the time.

But it is so much easier said than done.

We share that challenge with adult kids. I included the section at the end after sharing a draft of this with the one of my four who is most open to reason. He said that it seemed like rage bait.

I agree we need to persevere anyway. When it bothers me, I remind myself that Thomas Sowell was a communist until he was 30.

Rage bait or TRUTH Bombs!

My oldest is 35 and she sees things very clearly. But my four younger are in varying shades of woke.

I anticipate all of them eventually morphing into True Americans but kids being what they are, they might just stay progressives just to own Mom.

They are hugely embarrassed that I have been apologetically MAGA since Trump came down the escalator.

I am who I am!

My oldest is 27 and my youngest is 18, and they are still in the stage where they have everything figured out. Lol. They see me as more red-pilled, but that denies what I went through going back to grad school, which was horrible and life-changing.

I suspect they don't want to think about that because it makes the world feel out of control.

Because it is out of control.

We'll see how time changes their perceptions. Looking back, I had plenty to learn at that age, and I didn't want my parents to point that out.

I know.

The last people I wanted in my life during my 20’s were my parents.

I meant to write UN-apologetically above. I have been a hardcore fan of President Trumps since he questioned Barack’s Birth Certificate.

I know so many people like you who went back to school and were dumbfounded with Equity and DEI curriculums.

It is so great you are pushing back so effectively.

I believe our generation was sent to the earth at this time to preserve Liberty for the long haul of the 1,000 years of the millennium.

I wish my children would join me in this work. Maybe some day.

Being self reliant and raising a family are what three have chosen to do, and that is where I have tremendous hope. I have heard it said that Conservatives are parents whose oldest child just turned 12.

My oldest granddaughter just turned six.

It is SO NICE chatting with you!

Cheers!
