I am so sorry. My experience was brutal, and gave me a very clear understanding that for believers in this ideology, the end justifies the means. That’s why I’m speaking out. I am glad that more of us are finding each other though. There is strength in numbers. We also have reality on our side. You can only get so far with beliefs based on lies.

This is how I take in such information.
1) Know your goals and values. This guides everything that follows.
2) Verify that it’s true. (If I know and trust the source I may speed through this step) That may take some time.
3) If verified, don’t panic and don’t despair. Hasty decisions are problematic and when you despair you’re cooked. Game over.
4) Define the problem. For example, If internet communication becomes compromised that is a technical problem so it will require a technical solution, that’s doable and we may already have that at hand.
5) Be patient. Allowing time for things to develop provides opportunity.
If you are ever really backed into a corner you always have the option to fight, but big mistakes are made when you believe you’re in a corner but you’re not.
It seems logical that John Kerry would want the 1st Amendment abolished. Consequently, it's understandable that Mr. Guterres is pleased that the Biden-Harris administration also desires this, as evidenced by their signing of the Pact.
